Distance-learning modules for teachers

The College of Education and Lifelong Learning Part-time Master's course offers modules on Global Education. Four modules are currently available: Introduction (10 credits); Methodology (10 credits); The Interdependent World (20 credits)and Sustainable Change (20 credits). A fifth 30 credit module is currently being developed. These are taught through a mixture of weekend courses and distance learning. A full ESDGC pathway will be available. Embedding Education for Sustainable Development and Global Citizenship in ITET courses:

From 2001-2004 the World Education Centre worked with the School of Education in Bangor University /> Bangor on a three year, DFID-funded project to embed education for global citizenship and sustainable development in initial teacher education and training courses.
